WHY IS IT NECESSARY TO USE EMULSION MAINTENANCE DEVICE? 

On metal cutting machines used in today’s world, the emulsions with boron oil are used in cutting and cooling fluids. These emulsions circulated continuously in a closed-circuit through the turbination. During the processing, metal powders, slideway oils, hydraulic oils and grease oils merged into emulsion, in this way; emulsion and the working environment of emulsion (tank) become dirty, and the life of cutting tolls becomes shortened, and fungi, bacteria, foul odor and the problems on the hands of personnel occur, and as the fluids fail to function they need to be replaced. 

The machine tank is dismounted by ceasing the manufacturing, then the fluid in it is taken to the containers, that is to say; now we have the hazardous waste. These fluids can only be given to the firms for waste disposal (an additional cost), and after the tank cleaning; the tank is re-mounted and the new fluid is prepared then the production is restarted (waste of time and cost of oil). The costly change of emulsion can be avoided, by performing the regular maintenance, through Filtmak emulsion maintenance device, and the more efficient operation of the expensive cutting tools can be provided, and we can save the time that we lost for the cleaning of tanks, and we can use the emulsions without having the hazardous wastes. The decrease in the emulsion, which is caused by the manufacturing, is recovered by the addition of new emulsion.  

Filtmak Emulsion Maintenance Device is connected to the emulsion tank through its hoses, and when the device is operated; the fluid within the tank inputs into the filter through the suction with fluid gauge. Here, the metal powders up to 1 micron stay in the filter, and the fluid (boron oils and external oils) that is flowed from the filter is poured into the device body as mixture, and only the external oils are taken to a separate container in the device body, there is a level sensor is located at the edge of the container; when the container is full the device stops, then it is required to empty the external oil container. The emulsion, which is separated from the external oils and the metal powders, is returned to the tank, thus it is possible to maintain the fluids without ceasing the manufacturing, and after mounting the device to the emulsion tank of the counter; there is no need to stand over the device.
